We are looking for a Data Scientist - ideally an individual who is familiar with health care technology in relation to data science.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for working with our software developers and the care team to design and develop cutting-edge health technology products
-Will have an active role in business development through:
-Managing partnerships with other firms and public sector bodies related to health technology
-Applying for external funding from grants and awards
-Will make presentations to internal and external parties regarding the company's clinical technology and artificial intelligence projects
-Will contribute to the development of technology projects through informing clinically-sensible product design
-Have active participation in publishing medical literature including editorials and systematic reviews
-Will help to manage junior medical team members (foundation doctors, medical students)
-Strong computer skills especially relating to manipulating data
-Strong presentation and written communication skills
-Good understanding of the health care market and social care sector
-Good understanding of data privacy and security principles
-Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning
-Familiarity with common approaches used in modern data science
-Familiarity with agile product development
-Some understanding of back-end web technologies; especially in how they relate to data capture and storage
-Ability to program in Python and familiarity with python frameworks such as pandas and keras
-Ideally with experience of working in a start-up
